Grass yellows are common throughout the year but they fluctuate in numbers according to seasons. From observation, they were extremely abundant from November till early January and again from March till April. Weather factor could be a reason as well as availability of food plants as the end of the year period corresponds to abundance of rain. The rarer species, as in the case of E. ada, is commoner at the end of the year.
