for a male specimen 
-sharp FW & abdominal end
-antennal shaft dark with yellow/orange club
-veins scaled red-orange, HW vein 8 scaled red 
-HW orange/red veins as wide as brown ground

The Harlequin, Taxila haquinus haquinus (Fabricius)

This is a butterfly of the forest's edge, found on sunlit spots among bushes that reaches the mid-storey. It has the same habits like the other members of the family.

Above pictures of a very large female, 25 October 2014 @ 12:58-13:00. The female of this species can be differentiated from that of Laxita thuisto by its white subapical band which is not separated by darkened vein (pix below).
