Hasora quadripunctata gnaeus (Plötz)

Closely ressembles H. badra but can be differentiated by the larger white spot on the HW cell and has a larger appearance. On certain angle of the light, its has more purple sheen than H. badra (see pix). It is rarer than H. badra and is confined to deep forests. In the male, the subapical spot is missing (see pix below).

H. quadripunctata (male)

H. badra badra (Moore)

The Common Mime, Papilio (Chilasa) clytia clytia (L.)

This is a butterfly of the open land, frequenting parks and gardens and even roadsides. However, it is not very common in Raub but can be occasionally seen near its foodplant, the Wild Cinnamon, Cinnamomum iners, which are planted as a decorative plant in public areas.
