Larger than the Lesser Cruiser, V. dejone and are usually confined to the hills but in Raub, they were observed to descend to the foothills at 190m above sea level. They are generally larger than V. dejone and can be differentiated from V. dejone by the scalloped markings on the post-discal area (straight line in V. dejone)
