The Dark Blue Tiger, Tirumala septentrionis septentrionis (Butler)

Easily identifiable from others by its beautiful blue shades and is larger than other Tigers. Once the butterfly had wider distribution throughout the district of Raub but now restricted to certain well wooded localities. Seasonal and uncommon.
