Arhopala opalina azata (de Nicéville)

Localised to open wasteland with abundance of the Bamboo orchid, Arundina grammifolia in submontane zone as well as exposed edges of wooded peaks. Flies during mid day light and will nectar. Males have a beautiful lilac blue uppersides with a lavender sheen on the hindwing.
