Lycaenopsis haraldus haraldus (Fabricius)

Uncommon in fringes of forests, especially so in mid-elevation where males have a tendency to puddle singly in moist spots in the shades.

This is not a very common butterfly and sometimes, they are seen puddling or resting in the shade in late morning to early afternoon.

 a glimpse of the brilliant blue uppersides...
