The Club Beak, Libythea myrrha hecura (Fruhstorfer)

This is a seasonal butterfly that inhabits moist spots along the forested path. It is very skittish and reacts to human presence. It can easily be recognised by its angular forewings and an extremely long pair of palpi shaped into a "beak" on its head. It is a seasonal butterfly and is seen sporadically in different localities but never common.
