Cyrestis cocles earli (Distant) form formosa (C. & R. Felder)

This is the ochre-coloured form of C. cocles earli f. earli and appears almost like an albino form of the latter. They are usually found in the same localities, this form appears to be much lesser in number and frequence.

They have an unusual habit of scampering and hiding under broad leaves once disturbed while puddling on moist spots.
