The Blue Rajah, Polyura schreiber tisamenus (Fruhstorfer)

This is a beautiful Polyura - instantly recognisable from the other members of the genus by the silvery median band with an ochreous brown line on the pale grey underside of its wings. It is not a common butterfly in the region and the first observation was made in a deeply forested area.
