The Red-spot Duke, Dophla evelina compta (Fruhstorfer)

This is a large butterfly that inhabits the forest and it cannot be confused with any other species because of the strongly falcate forewings and its peculiar colours - it has greenish brown uppersides with a red cell-spot on the forewing above while the undersides are greyish-green.
