The Bright Red Velvet Bob, Koruthailos sindu sindu (C. & R. Felder)

This butterfly is commonly found scuttling around the understory of the forest, often resting and sunning itself on the edge of the forest on a sunny spot. The hesperiids of this genus are easily identifiable from others by their rather plain brown wings above and below with a band of orange red on the forewings. Commoner during the wetter months of the year.
