The Rustic, Cupha erymanthis lotis (Sulzer)

This is a very common but not abundant butterfly to be found on the forest's edge as well as on the plain, fringing villages and gardens. It has a yellow band on its forewings and has an overall more "rounded" appearance then the other closely related nymphalids.
