The Snowy Angle, Darpa pteria dealbata (Distant, 1886)

Denizen of submontane and montane peaks where males are sometimes seen dogfighting. Rare and localised. Differentiated from Darpa striata by its white tornal area of the HW which is not spotted.

Darpa striata striata (H. Druce)

This is an uncommon forest insect. In flight, it ressembles a Snow Flat but once settled, its highly marked upper (contrasted shades between the veins and the cells giving it the striation) and tail projection will differ it from Tagiades.
