The Grand Imperial, Neocheritra amrita amrita (C. & R. Felder, 1860)

Rare in pristine lowland dipterocarp forests but can be more localised in exposed hill dipterocarp forests along lower mountain ridges or hill tops.

The Pale Imperial, Neocheritra fabronia lina (Eliot, 1959)

Impressive and large Lycaenid confined to montane peaks of the Main Range. Females are brown above and male has a beautiful peacock blue sheen with a brand above the cell on the hindwing upperside. Rare and seasonal.
