Allotinus substrigosus substrigosus (Moore)

This tiny Allotinus can be readily distinguished from A. unicolor by the black spot on the center of the HW costa and the underside wing margins are coloured brown. Inhabits the same localities like A. unicolor.

The Lesser Darkwing, Allotinus (Paragerydus) unicolor unicolor (C. & R. Felder)

This is an insect that is found principally in the shades of the forest in the lowland. Common and may be locally abundant.
