Erites argentina delia (Martin)

This species can be differentiated from E. angularis by the evenly curved inner band which is well separated from outer band. They inhabit the dark understoreys and can be baited with rotting fruits.

The Dark Grass-brown, Orsotriaena medus cinerea (Butler)

This is a very common butterfly in the open country among the shades where grasses abound as well as in wooded countries. It is different from the Bush Browns by its distinctive clear white stripe against its dark brown wings and the yellow-ringed ocelli (2 on forewings and 3 ond hindwings). They tend to be more active in the earlier part of the morning on open grassy areas and retreat into the shades when the day warms up.
