Chersonesia nicevillei (Martin)

Ressembles very much like C. intermedia in colour and size but can be differentiated by the distinctively broken submarginal band into 2 parts as well as a curved postdiscal band in above vein 4 on the forewing. Very rare.

The Little Maplet, Chersonesia peraka peraka (Distant)

This is a much less common butterfly than its cousins C. intermedia and C. rahria, to be found in the same localities around moist spots along forested streams.

The Wavy Maplet, Chersonesia intermedia intermedia (Martin)

This tiny little butterfly is common at the hills, found usually on moist spots by the stream. It rests its wings like a Mapwing and is often found in the same localities.

This is the dwarf form of C. intermedia, measuring as little as 11 mm in certain individuals (the photographed specimen was slightly bigger than a Singleton)
