The Angled Cyclops, Erites angularis angularis (Moore)

This insect is confined to the deep shades of the forest and can be baited with rotting fruits. The following specimens were photographed in the same vicinity being attracted to rotting fruits on the ground that fell from a tall tree. They are very feeble in flight and if one is patient, could be seen returning to the same spot after having being disturbed.
