The Malayan Six-ring, Ypthima fasciata torone (Fruhstorfer)

Commoner in wooded vicinities and open verdures fringing forests, especially in hilly areas. It can easily be confused with the commoner Five-rings but this butterfly has two dark coloured bands of striation on its undersides.
